Explanation of Place Only Sport Bets
Place Only is a bet on a runner to place First, Second or Third, subject to field size.
*Eight or more runners will pay First, Second and Third.
*Five to Seven runners will only pay First and Second.
*Less than Five runners will only pay First.
It is very difficult to make a lot of profit from these bets by themselves. In a latter video you'll see where to use these bets to your advatnage. People think it is easier to find a selection that will come in a place rather than a win, after all you have 3 places rather than one... but don't be fooled.....it is just as difficult and you are risking the same amount of money for less return. If I'm going to chose a place bet, I will look for place odds higher than the favorites win odds, and go from there. Let's keep betting easy! |
