Explanation of Exacta Betting
An Exacta requires that you pick the first two place getters in order. You must pick a runner to come first and a runner to come second. So they are twice as hard as picking the quinella but do they pay twice as much? In my experinece they don't enough of the time to risk the bet.
These are very difficult bets to win but there are exceptions. The best chance of success with Exactas are in Weight for Age Races where the likely hood of 2 runners coming first and second from a previous race to todays race in the same order again is lot higher. For example a couple of weeks ago in a horse race that was weight for age Theseo beat Rangiragdoo. The next time they raced in another weight for age it was the same result, Theseo first and rangirandoo second. Only use Exacta's on very specific races. Let's keep betting easy!
