I like to bet on golf and tennis as its more of an individual sport. As these sports are more international, there is lack of information for many punters who are unfamiliar with certain locations, climates, etc. So, the Mercedes Benz golf open in Hawaii is quite windy and so those golfers like Mike Weir are good odds because I know his irons are solid. Same with tennis, certain European players are better on clay than the upcoming US players who are more inclined to Rebound Ace Surface.
I always like betting on maiden races for horses that come to the city and many of the bookies dont know their form. These horses are often at 5-1, 7-1 and represent great betting opportunities.
The best statistical odds to get maximum return is the Melbourne Cup as there are so many punters in the pool. Hence the payouts are larger if an outsider or long odds horse comes 2nd or 3rd. |
