So you think it's her turn to win again?
Gai Waterhouse has won this race every second year since 2004 so guess what? It’s her turn again but there is a problem, or So You’d Think? Descarado won the Caulfield Cup at big odds and was left alone in betting. So you think you have got the winner of this one? Are you sure? Betting short odds won’t send you broke if they keep winning, so you think it is easy to pick the winner? Ginga Dude at odds of 15-1 for all the Julia Roberts fans. Descarado is betting 15-1 for betfair punters. And what about Faint Perfume at odds of 40-1 for those at home with a TV pointed towards the bathroom? So you think you can pick which one will win?

Don’t just sit there! Get out of the way! It’s two minutes till the Guineas jumps and I don’t know what to bet on? What an open horse race for betting with odds very even. The field is split into pairs with the favorites at 4-1, then the next line of betting at 8-1 and so on. Anacheeva, Toorak Toff, Hollowlea, all have chance. It is a matter of picking what odds you are prepared to take. Backing as many in the field to make a profit might not be the best option. It could be best to go for long odds in this with Run for Levi the pick of the betting at the moment at odds of 30-1. Which ever way you bet in this race, the horses will not run up to past form, that is for sure and someone will be left on the track having a good cry about where it all went wrong in the run! Horse Race Betting does not get better than than the Guineas.

WOW, the Turnbull Stakes at Flemington is a seriously hot race this year with numerous winning chances and champions in their own right. Betting will be fantastic and if ever you wanted to try betting “in running” for the first time, then this is the race to do it in. Shocking is the Flemington specialist, might win but but he only at odds of 5-1. Moudre, if he can get a run, should run close to favourite and if the scratchings appear, can win the race to be sure of starting in the Caufield Cup. Its ‘D-Day’ for Shoot Out. The Big Flemington track should suit and he gets his chance to stand up as a genuine Cox Plate contender. Unlike most punters we think Typhoon Tracy will stand up and show she can run a strong 2000 meters, so back her in the Cox Plate before this run for the extra big odds on betting available!

Open as Usual
There is nothing ever typical about betting in an Epsom and this year is no different as the odds show once again what an open contest it will be. Trusting is the horse to beat at odds of 5-1. Once Were Wild betting sees her drop to 9-1 and she is an Oaks winner. Gai Waterhouse is not short of a trophy for this race in her cabinet either, and knows when to get them right.
Black Piranha is our pick with betting odds of 17-1 and Gai’s best jockey in the saddle, Nash Rawiller, he’ll get back and look to be charging home. Sacred Choice and Dealer Principle are at huge odds but we can’t see them running a strong mile compared to the others more fancied. The ink is finally dry!
The ink is dry Dwayne Swan’s arm – the Brownlow medal – and finally on two possible outcomes for the Sunday papers, no more drawn grand finals this week. Dwayne Swan will be especially pleased after failing to win “Charlie” and a lack luster performance last week. Betting still sees Collingwood ahead, as favorites over St Kilda, with almost the same odds on offer as not much has changed in a week. Collingwood still can’t kick goals and St Kilda still can’t finish off a match. So who do we bet on this week? AFL in LIVE betting looking the winner. Who's a pretty girl now?
The George Main Stakes can be a great lead into the Cox Plate and this year will see Cox Plate entrant More Joyous start a shot priced favorite at $1.85. This is for good reason though, because nothing else will come close in betting or odds. The only other option for this race is to take Black Piranha for the Exacta. If you want to go further in betting on this race then perhaps try Theseo for third place. Will both teams win their respective semi final NRL games?
It’s Semi Final time in the NRL and they are both good betting prospects. Canberra won last week and have huge momentum heading into the Tigers game at home. Odds are very skinny for both teams it would seem, and perhaps betting LIVE during the match would be the way to go this weekend. Canberra are $1.50 to win and the Tigers are odds of $2.60
The Sydney Roosters will play hosts to the Penrith Panthers in the weekend’s other match on Saturday night. The Panthers have had an outstanding season finishing second, however big injury concerns to three key players will not see their odds reach 5-1 so you would have to stick with the Roosters with betting at $1.50 to go through.

Can Cummings Repeat the Win?
Traditionally a race that trainers and horses find hard to win more than once. David Hayes has done it in 2005 and 2006 and this year AnthonyCummings gets his chance with Sister Madly with betting showing current odds of 9-1. Doubtful Jack is currently well over the odds at $2.80, and that price will be snapped up closer to race time. Moody may have his chance to win back to back next year, because there is not much else in the field that will trouble the favorite. Jungle Ruler is always up there and can surprise at big odds. Kidnapped has the Snowden polish and keep an eye on Rightfully Yours in the closing stages of betting. How to bet ? Stick to Doubtful Jack if undecided.

It’s not a one horse race as the betting odds suggest with So You Think at odds on to win. Last years Cox Plate winner is certainly looking good but there will have to be a point where the horse blows a bit while gaining fitness and this could be the day. It certainly won’t be during the Cox Plate. Last year the race was dominated by Weekend Hussler, but in 2010 there is no similar entry. Heart of Dreams won the race two years ago and may be looking to repeat. Largo Lad had a slashing run at huge odds to win last start and will be similar odds. And what about Metal Bender now down in Melbourne to launch a huge spring campaign?
