Flemington will be buzzing on Saturday with the 2010 running of the Newmarket Handicap. I’ll be onboard Starspangledbanner for no other reason that the USA won a record number of medals at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games – and I believe in unrelated large events and similar horse names winning! You might think I’m irrational but I’ve won many times using the “parallel theory”.

Starspangledbanner won very well in the Sportingbet Oakleigh Plate a few weeks back and I also like All Silent
