The Lets Elope is steeped in tradition and only superstars win this open event, so be sure to watch for betting odds. Irish Lights is a superstar on the up and at horseracing betting odds of 10-1 can not be left out of anything. Mont Fleuri may be something to keep an eye on with betting moves and Response will not let you down. The only horse to leave out is the favorite Lady Lynette, as word has it that the horse is under done.
Visit Sportbets.com.au for the latest horseracing betting odds for the Lets Elope Stakes this weekend

Finally some edge of the seat footy AFL Betting! The business end of the AFL Season starts this weekend with Week 1 of the AFL Finals. This is the most open final series in years and any team could win it. As far as AFL betting propositions go, I think it is best to asses things on the odds on offer and avoid taking short odds about a favorite to win a particular match. Players and coaches get nervous. To put it simply, the loser of Collingwood vs Western Bulldogs will play the winner of Sydney vs Carlton in Week 2, while the loser of Geelong vs St Kilda will meet the winner of Fremantle vs Hawthorn. I would expect in the knock out match up in Sydney that the Swans will come through, as they are very hard to beat at home in finals series. For the best AFL betting opportunities check the how to bet on AFL videos.

The Chelmsford Stakes will see Metal Bender as a solid favorite and the horse is my pick for a Melbourne Cup betting victory. The only other horseracing betting that could make the job difficult is Purple given the conditions are going to require umbrellas and blinkers! Odds on there will be something pop up in the placings like Get Up Jude or Run for Nara at huge odds. It is a Group 2 race for 3-year olds at weight for age conditions and is a crucial race during the spring racing carnival as successful horses will go on to compete in the G1 Cox Plate or G1 George Main Stakes. For a view on how to place a solid trifecta bet, watch the sport bets video tip.

What a betting horserace the Group 2 Makybe Diva Stakes at Flemington is going to be. Many horses with Melbourne Cup or Caulfield Cup aspirations will be starting in this race, including last year’s Melbourne Cup winner Shocking .
I expect Danleigh to be favorite after impressive runs in the Missile Stakes and Warwick Stakes in Sydney and the betting should be fierce with the wet weather definitely suiting him. Horses to watch in this race will be Fanjura if it gets a run, and also watch betting moves for Speed Gifted. Check the How to Bet with Quinella Betting Sport Bets video to maximise profits.

The boys at Sportingbet are offering a novelty bet for the 2010 AFL Grand Final betting adventurer – the grand final odds that it will be an all Victorian final. Now wouldn’t that bring a tear to the eye of the old VFL generation…
I’ll be backing the Geelong Cats to romp home if that happens but I do think at $3.80, the AFL betting odds that it won’t be an all Victorian grand final are excellentgrand final betting odds.

Caufield Cup Odds & Selections. The cup is not far off and with second favorite Shoot Out in such fine form it is a case of waiting to find a chink his armor before dismissing the horse.
Early favorite Faint Perfume was supposed to have her first run back last week, but was scratched by the miestro Bart Cummings and maybe behind now in fitness terms. The other early selection to keep an eye on is Zabrasive.
There is a massive competition on Australia wide to win a piece of his earnings this spring, so if he comes back a solid 5-6 lengths behind the winner in his first up run over an unsuitable distance this weekend he might be the smokey of the Cup this year

Sportbets.com.au is interesting to operate because you get to understand what is popular in mainstream Australia. For instance, masterchef betting was HUGE in July! This month it will be Brownlow odds
Whilst the brownlow betting will be big this month, the eyes will be watching the red carpet for the WAGS (wives and girlfriends).
Our tip is Brendon Goddard from St.Kilda

The team here at Sportbets.com.au think the 2010 AFL Grand Final betting odds favour Collingwood.
Yes, you hear right. The mighty magpies are going to win the AFL Grand Final says our tipsters here. Whilst St.Kilda is looking good as an AFL Grand Final betting tip, I think 2010 Brownlow Betting odds 2010 should see Michael Barlow get well backed leading into September.

Blind Freddie could pick the 2010 Australian Federal Election and the election odds may favor the ALP but we are tipping the Liberal Party to win handsomely on August 21. Tony Abbot is the healthiest example of a leader of Australia since Paul Keating. A young, decent guy who is not smarmy and has a balanced view of the world.
Thanks to Kevin Rudd, the election odds are all but finished for the ALP. RIP ALP. For the latest 2010 Federal election betting odds, visit Sportbets.com.au website.
